Packaging: chic and simplistic; capture’s makeup artist’s Mario Dedivanovic’s style
the artwork is the same for the outer packaging of the palette as well as the box it comes in
Here’s a look at the inside of the palette. The tones in this palette, very earthy.
Mario Dedivanovic is a makeup artist and this palette resonates his artwork’s style. He does celebrity makeup and the work he usually does and his client’s, like Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Tiegen, look for are neutral looks. He also creates effortless neutral smokey eyes. This palette is a neutral lover’s dream, yet some may be tired of the trending warm toned neutrals palettes, this however is different. What makes this palette unique is it isn’t your common neutral shades, the earthy tones is what steers it away from basic. This is a great everyday palette and some may look at it and see comfort and simple looks but trust me you get that and bold, creative looks with this palette too. As a freelance makeup artist, this has become such a staple piece in my kit, and my clients LOVE it. I expected nothing but greatness from such a talented artist.
Now let’s talk formula. Anastasia Beverly Hill’s eyeshadows have been one of my all time favorite eyeshadow formulations ever. I honestly didn’t think the formula could get better but this palette proved otherwise. ABH shadows are extremely pigmented, everyone knows that. They are very blendable and have a great lasting power. Now some shadows from her past palette’s and single shadows have a lot of kick up, which personally I don’t mind because I always tap excess off my brush. But this palette the formula is so much more buttery, it’s almost as if you are applying a cream shadow. Every single shadow performed excellent in this palette, none were a dud, expected from Mario.
Now let’s get to swatching.

Overall thoughts: You needed this palette yesterday. Seriously this palette is such a staple palette. The formula alone is the reason you should be running to the store to get this. This is a great everyday palette and also can create bold, dramatic looks with it.I highly recommend this palette, I can’t say enough good things about this.
Price: $45 – that means each shadow is priced at $3.75, $3.75 for 12 eyeshadows is a steal
